Season
We ride all year round: every month has its own rewards and follows the wildlife calendar. Between June and December the whale watching is outstanding.
Experience and safety
No previous experience is needed for the 1.5-hour rides. For the longer outings we do recommend having cantered before and done longer rides.
Our experienced team of local guides puts the care of rider and horse first. Before every departure they give a technical briefing on safety and horse handling, so the ride can be enjoyed from the very first moment.
The horses
Mostly retired polo horses, remarkably gentle and comfortable to ride. To care for them better and reduce erosion, they are fed hay bales with a corn and oat supplement.
Meeting point
- For the rides: leave Puerto Pirámides along Avenida de las Ballenas.
- For Cinzano: leaving Pirámides towards Madryn, 7 km along on the left.
Base camp
Corrals and a quincho on wheels that move according to the needs of each programme. On request, our deep knowledge of the peninsula and the extent of the property allow us to build tailor-made visits for private groups.
Commitment to the environment and culture
Year after year we take part in beach clean-ups. The corrals are made of steel pipe to prevent accidents, we avoid plastics and suggest bringing a refillable bottle: there is drinking water at the base camp to top it up.
